According to legend, The Drake Hotel has a special guest named the "woman in red" who has been known to mainly haunt the tenth floor. Employees have surmised that the ghost is of a woman who discovered her husband engaging in an extra-marital affair at a New Year's party in 1920, shortly after the hotel's grand opening, and threw herself from a tenth story window.
