The Inn on Ferry Street is a unique collection of luxurious mansions in the heart of Detroit’s cultural, medical, and university district. Originally a part of the Ferry Seed Company, East Ferry Avenue was developed in the late 1800s into an upper-class neighborhood. Today, The Inn on Ferry Street consists of four stately mansions and two carriage houses. These historic homes feature Victorian architecture and include grand staircases, ornate fireplaces, and stained or leaded glass windows. While historic preservation is paramount, features demanded by today’s business and leisure travelers have been added to The Inn. The entire premises conveniently offer wireless Internet access and is smoke-free.
