Hotel Boulderado

Hotel Boulderado opened before admiring crowds on New Year’s Day, 1909, as Boulder’s first luxury hotel. It was immediately described by the local paper as “the pride of the city.” This landmark building, with its Italian Renaissance architectural elements, has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Even its original 1906 Otis elevator is still in operation! (According to the staff, the hotel was "built around the elevator.")Tthe Hotel Boulderado exudes true classic elegance, from the breathtaking stained-glass canopy above the lobby, cantilevered cherry wood staircase, and the Victorian furnishings.
