The Rederiet Hotell resides within the beautiful seaside town of Farsund. Built to house the Mosvold Shipping Company in 1958, this fantastic location wonderfully illustrates the deep connection that southern Norway has with the ocean. The Mosvold Shipping Company subsequently operated at the site for more than 40 years! Converted to a hotel many years later in 2008, the building still pays homage to Farsund’s reliance on the sea. A tremendous nautical theme is present throughout the hotel, which includes tributes to the country’s great naval heritage in all the guestrooms. With terrific views out over the town’s majestic harbor, the Rederiet Hotell is a charming destination.
